This course focuses on curriculum methods designed specifically for identified students with gifts and talents in specialized programs. This course addresses areas related to psychology and giftedness: social-emotional issues of gifted students and counseling research and identification, assessment, and evaluation related to gifted students and gifted programs.ĮDUC 792 – Curriculum and Methods for Teaching Students with Gifts and Talents (3 credits) Students can take the Foundations course without being admitted to the program.ĮDUC 794 – Psychological Issues in Gifted Education (3 credits) ![]() Introduction to current literature as well as exploration of relevant issues and trends. Overview of history and definitions Identification strategies and program options in the field of gifted/talented education.
